Installing, Uninstalling and Return Policy

Driver updating software is simple to use, it installs and uninstalls just like any other software - there are no special steps you need to know to benefit from trying the driver updater yourself.

Installation

You will need to first download the installer, you can find the download file in our Driver Tools page. Save it directly to your desktop so that you can easily find it after the download is finished. The download should only take a minute or two!

Double-click on the downloaded file after the download is completed to start the installation process. Just follow the on-screen installation wizard to install the updater and launch it automatically after the installation is complete.

Using the Driver Updater

Using the software is also very simple: you just need to click on the central button to start the driver scan and the updater will do the rest. At the end of the scan you will be shown the list of drivers found to be out-of-date or missing. If you accidentally closed the program you can find it under Start, Programs menu.

Uninstallation and Removal

It is not necessary to remove the software after you finish using it as you may find yourself needing it in the future as drivers get constantly updated by your computer manufacturer. But the uninstallation and removal is straight-forward: click on Start menu then open the Control Panel. Double-click on Add or Remove Programs, locate the updater in the list and just click on Uninstall button. This will permanently remove the updater from your computer.
